Research Survey Data are used to assist with the assessment of fish stocks and to develop and evaluate resource management strategies.

In accordance with Conservation Measure 24-01 the C4 Database Form can be used for entry and submission of Catch, Effort and Biological data associated with Research Surveys. A spreadsheet version of this form is available for research fishing using longlines.
